Mr Decker is a life-long medical publisher and Emeritus Chairman of Decker Intellectual Properties Inc., with a long record of philanthropy in his native Canada.
He has previously supported Opera Hamilton, Tennis Canada & Wheelchair Tennis, Dr Bob Kemp Hospice, Boris Brott Music Festival, among others. He also established the Decker Fund for Medical Informatics for McMaster University.
Brian Decker currently serves as the Goodwill Ambassador for ECSA Health Community. ECSA-HC is an inter-governmental organization that fosters and promotes regional cooperation in health. Member states of the ECSA-HC are Eswatini, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Mauritius, United Republic of Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe. The ECSA-HC Secretariat is based in Arusha, United Republic of Tanzania.
Mr. Decker will provide his expertise, networks and experience to the ECSA-HC in resource mobilization, documentation of success stories, increasing visibility and especially in the development of the College of Health Sciences.
